Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Dr. Amanda West is a Licensed Clinical Social Work, graduating with her masters in social work from the University of Denver, and her doctorate in social work from the University of Utah. She greatly enjoys working with clients with an intentional focus on assisting them in living their best lives.
Therapeutic Focus & Approach:
Amanda approaches therapy through a biopsychosocial lens in viewing all aspects of an individual’s life. Amanda utilizes a variety of modalities, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in her work. She integrates mindfulness and somatic-oriented practices in addition.
Amanda specializes in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and a variety of significant life transitions in both adolescents and adults. She is dedicated to providing a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds, and seeks to proactively and positively serve those within the LGBTQ+ community.
