Biography:

Dr. Desiree Hawley is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Schaumburg, IL. Desiree works with individuals ages 10 years old and up, specializing in adolescents and young adults. She also has an interest in working with couples and families.

Therapeutic Focus & Approach:

Desiree’s primary goal as a clinician is to create a warm, supportive, and safe environment that promotes deeper exploration and understanding of one’s emotional experiences. She enjoys teaching others how to cope in ways that are consistent with how individuals would like to see themselves by utilizing Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
