Biography:
Emily Kearney, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and earned her Master of Social Work at Loyola University Chicago. Emily has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in individual, couple, family, and group settings.
Emily takes on an integrative, person-centered approach to help individualize the therapeutic experience for the client. Emily utilizes a trauma informed lens and uses a variety of modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Strengths Based Therapy. Additionally, Emily is currently working to obtain her certification in ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider (ADHD-CCSP). Emily has a passion working with the neurodivergent population and utilizes neurodiversity affirming practices in session.
