Biography:
Dr. Erica Drzonek-Edwards is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Midwestern University. Erica works with people of all ages and has a specific interest in working with school-aged populations and adults.
Therapeutic Focus & Approach:
Erica provides client-centered and creative therapeutic services to kids, teens, college-aged individuals, and adults. Erica commonly helps with concerns such as anxiety & stress, depression, grief, AD/HD and other neurodevelopmental challenges. Erica especially enjoys supporting clients through transitions and working through phases of life concerns that impact interpersonal and school/occupational functioning. Erica also is uniquely skilled in providing educational and supportive therapy services to individuals and families affected by Misophonia. Erica tends to utilize a combination of evidenced based interventions, drawing from Solution Focused, Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT),and Relational foundations. Erica frequently engages in multidisciplinary and family/school collaboration to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
