Dr. Erin Troff is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who earned her Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Counselor Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Erin works with individuals aged 16 and older, and specializes in individual therapy with older teens and adults. She has a special interest in all things relationship related (dating, divorce, infidelity, toxic friendships, boundary setting). 

Therapeutic Focus & Approach:

Erin’s clinical focus is on individuals dealing with mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment to life transitions, boundary issues, stress management, self esteem, identity issues, and relational problems. She utilizes a wide variety of techniques to help meet each individual’s unique needs, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, and Coping Skill development. She wants clients to gain insight, learn better coping skills and make changes within themselves that allow them to experience life in a more positive way. Her hope is that the knowledge and tools clients gain in therapy will facilitate continued growth and development after therapy is completed.
