Biography:

Dr. Erin Troff is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who earned her Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Counselor Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Erin works with individuals aged 16 and older, and specializes in individual therapy with older teens and adults. She has a special interest in adult relationship distress (unhealthy boundaries/infidelity/divorce).

Therapeutic Focus & Approach:

Erin’s clinical focus is on individuals dealing with mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment to life transitions, boundary issues, stress management, self esteem, identity issues, partner relational problems, and parenting young adults. She utilizes a wide variety of techniques to help meet each individual’s unique needs, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Positive Parenting, and Coping Skill development. Erin has experience working in schools, residential and outpatient settings.
