Biography:

Jessica Poncer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned her Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) with a Mental Health Specialization from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Jessica primarily works with individuals age 10-years old and up, and specializes in individual therapy with adolescents and young adults.

Therapeutic Focus & Approach:

Jessica works with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment disorders due to life changes, and behavioral concerns. Jessica approaches therapy from a strengths-based perspective that is holistic and guided by the individual needs of each client.

Jessica utilizes a variety of modalities which incorporate best practice from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy. Jessica believes that it is important to have a safe space to develop, learn, and grow emotionally. She provides that safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to share and process their experiences, build upon current strengths, explore new solutions and find meaning and balance in their lives.
