Julia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned her master’s degree at the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice (formerly the School of Social Service Administration). Julia has gained diverse experience across therapeutic settings that include inpatient psychiatric hospital units, residential treatment, foster care, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Julia works with people across the lifespan, with a focus on providing individual and family services to adolescents and young adults.

Julia is a trauma-informed relational therapist who has a strong background working with youth and families facing a variety of challenges. Julia enjoys helping people struggling with depression, anxiety, the impact of trauma, and difficulties in interpersonal relationships. Julia is certified in Collaborative Problem Solving, and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques in her practice. Julia values a therapeutic partnership that supports people in deepening their self-understanding, strengthening resilience and well-being, and empowers them to create positive change in their lives.
