Biography:
Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned her Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Social Work from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN and her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) with a concentration in Children and Family Services from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Jane Addams College of Social Work. Sarah has experience in treating children and adults across the lifespan in individual and family settings.
Therapeutic Focus & Approach:
Sarah’s clinical focus is on children and adults dealing with complicated relationships, family of origin issues, trauma, emotional and mood difficulties, grief, self-esteem, life transitions and adjustments. Sarah uses an eclectic mix of talk, behavioral, and play therapy approaches in order to customize treatment around her client’s unique needs, including: Rogerian Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Bowen Family Systems, and Solution Focused Therapy.
