Our Woodstock office is a block off the Square, which means therapy can fit into a day you were already having rather than becoming its own errand. Parking is easy, the building is quiet, and the waiting room does not feel like a clinic.

We are open Monday through Saturday. Saturday appointments matter more than they sound: they are often the difference between a teenager actually attending sessions and missing them for practice, or a parent starting counseling without explaining a standing absence to an employer. Those slots fill first, so it is worth asking early.

Marriage counseling here is structured work, not a refereed argument. We slow the conversation down enough that both people can hear what is actually being said, then build the specific skills that keep a hard conversation from turning into a bad week. Family and teen counseling

We also see teenagers on their own. Teen counseling works best when a young person has a space that belongs to them, with a clinician who is not going to report every word back. We are clear with families about how that works from the first session.

Depression, anxiety, and affirming care

Depression and anxiety are the two things our mental health counseling addresses most in Woodstock, for adults and for kids from age five. Our therapists and prescribers work in the same practice, so if medication becomes part of the plan, medication management is coordinated rather than outsourced.

Our Woodstock team includes clinicians who provide LGBTQ+ affirming therapy. Affirming means what it says: your identity is context for the work, not the problem being treated, and you should not have to educate your therapist before you can begin.
