Psychological Testing
Psychological testing answers questions that conversation alone can’t. When you or your child needs clarity about ADHD, autism, a learning difference, or a complex diagnostic picture, our doctoral-level testing clinicians provide careful, comprehensive evaluation.
More time, more rigor
Testing is only as useful as it is thorough. Unlike settings that move quickly through assessments, we take the time to gather a complete picture, interpret results carefully, and translate them into clear, practical recommendations you can actually use, at home, at school, or with other providers.
Many evaluations begin as referrals from outside therapists, physicians, and organizations who need diagnostic clarity for a patient. We coordinate closely with the referring provider’s question and, with your consent, return the answers to your whole care team. Learn more about how we collaborate with outside providers.

What to expect
All evaluations at LodeStone follow a structured process designed to give you the most accurate and actionable results possible:
- A 45 to 60 minute intake interview covering your history and current concerns
- 3 to 6 hours of face-to-face testing, which can be split across multiple sessions
- Collaboration with therapists, physicians, teachers, or other providers involved in your care, with your consent
- A 45 to 60 minute feedback session to walk through your results
- A written report you can share with your entire care team
Testing is available for ages 5 and up. Intake and feedback sessions are available by telehealth; only the testing itself requires an in-person visit.
