Michelle Bidwell, Psy.D.

Biography

Dr. Michelle Bidwell is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Michelle works with individuals ages 6 and up, specializing in adolescents and young adults. She also conducts psychological testing to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Therapeutic Focus & Approach

Because the work of therapy and healing can be challenging, Michelle believes that it is important to build a trusting relationship in therapy as a foundation for all clinical work. She uses this relational approach as the foundation for tailoring strategies to each client’s unique needs from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
