Biography
Sabrina is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who enjoys working with neurodivergent clients as well as individuals presenting with mood, anxiety, OCD, and/or other areas of relational or life stage stress. Sabrina earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Loyola University Chicago and completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. After her time at Northwestern, Sabrina continued as a post-graduate fellow providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)-informed individual and group services to adolescents and adults. Sabrina’s work has also focused on immigrant and refugee populations, addressing stress associated with acculturation and life transitions.
Therapeutic Focus & Approach
Informed mainly by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Sabrina utilizes integrative and evidence-based therapeutic interventions individually tailored to meet each client’s needs and goals. Sabrina prioritizes a collaborative and authentic therapeutic relationship where clients have the agency to contribute to the therapeutic experience. Using a person-centered approach, Sabrina finds personalized and creative ways to address presenting concerns while facilitating the process of rediscovering one’s strength and inner healing.
